Job Overview

Centoco Plastics is looking for an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced plastics mold injection facility.

This role will focus on ensuring effective and efficient operations of all plant equipment by maintaining all equipment to a quality performance level through regular preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong injection molding background, a technical knowledge of equipment and tooling, an understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principals, be organized and a motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities

Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Installing machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools. Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions. Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts. Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery. Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations. Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation. Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery. Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures. Some facility maintenance duties and other duties as required.

Requirements

Must be able to work a 3-Shift Rotation
2-week rotations

Midnights (11:00PM - 7:30AM)

Afternoons (3:00PM - 11:30PM)

Days (7:00AM - 3:30PM)

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in plastic injection molding. Able to read and interpret drawings. Experience in mold changeovers. Able to multi-task Attention to detail and Standing for extended periods is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
