Job Description

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment in the production process to ensure efficient and high-quality output. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or systems that result into technical challenges and impedes the performance of the Machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and Process related issues Maintain Dust collection systems, Raw material conveyor systems, lighting, and other facility infrastructures Install, troubleshoot, and repair Production machinery and equipment as needed Document maintenance activities and update service logs and records Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and projects Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests Follow all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance work Communicate with supervisors and team members about maintenance needs and priorities

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Good communication and teamwork abilities Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods Familiarity with automation systems and maintenance management software is a plus

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required (technical school or trade certification preferred) 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field OSHA safety certification or training preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
