Why this role matters

The Facilities (Maintenance) Technician plays a key role in keeping the resort running at its best. From preventative upkeep to urgent repairs, your work ensures our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience. This is a hands-on role where your problem-solving skills and attention to detail directly support the smooth operations that Brentwood Bay Resort is known for.

What you'll do

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and repairs Inspect and maintain pools and hot tubs, ensuring proper sanitation and chemical balance Troubleshoot and repair systems and equipment (plumbing, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, painting) Monitor heating, electrical, and ventilation systems across the property Support safety inspections, pest control, and emergency system checks Assist with landscaping, snow clearing, and debris removal as needed Work with external contractors to ensure safety and quality standards Log and complete tasks through our internal ticketing system with clear documentation Respond to maintenance concerns from guests and team members

What you'll bring

Previous facilities or maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality or resort settings Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Attention to detail and strong time management skills Familiarity with safety protocols, equipment, and preventative maintenance practices Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor work in all weather conditions A proactive, team-first attitude with confidence to work independently when needed Availability to work Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
