Responsibilities

This role will require someone to be ONSITE Monday to Friday (9-5). Reporting to the building management team, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing regular maintenance duties at a residential property which includes but is not limited to:

Minor appliance repair and fixture installation Minor heating and plumbing repairs Minor repair of electrical systems Other repairs such as basic carpentry, drywall patching, and painting Inspection of common areas and premises Communication with contractors, the property management team and other parties, as required (i.e., email, phone, etc.)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Two (2) years' experience with building operational systems (i.e., drywall repairs, general maintenance, mechanical, electrical and plumbing preferred) Self-motivated with the ability to follow direction and work without supervision A professional and service-oriented mindset Excellent communication/computer skills; both verbal and written Access to reliable vehicle transportation to aide in supplies procurement Availability to work weekends/on-call rotation for after hour emergencies Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act an asset, but not required
