We are currently accepting applications for dynamic, highly skilled and organized individual for the position of
Maintenance Technician
to join our team at our Triton fish processing facility.The Position:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician will perform their duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy, and will be responsible for the following:
Assist in the planning of corrective and preventative maintenance schedules; and complete related maintenance documentation associated with established preventive maintenance program and work orders. Ability to read blueprints, use manuals and related schematics in order to trouble-shoot equipment and resolve problems. Foster a culture of safety by implementing and promoting safe work procedures. Provide relief for Maintenance Manager as required.
Qualifications:
Provincial certification from an accredited institution in a mechanical or electrical field of study. Applicants with relevant work experience may also be considered as meeting this requirement.
This is a full-time, seasonal position and is a bargaining unit position. Wages and benefits will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
