Position: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)
We're looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day repair and upkeep tasks at a residential building complex. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure the property stays safe, functional, and well-maintained.
What You'll Be Doing:
Completing general repair work such as fixing doors, patching walls, replacing fixtures, and handling minor plumbing or electrical issues
Responding to tenant maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
Performing routine inspections of common areas, building systems, and equipment
Coordinating with vendors or contractors for larger repairs
Ensuring hallways, mechanical rooms, and shared spaces are clean and orderly
Assisting with unit turnovers, including minor repairs and touch-ups
Monitoring the property for safety hazards and addressing issues quickly
Schedule:
Full-time role
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or on-call availability if required
On-site presence to support daily building operations
Requirements:
Experience in general maintenance, building repairs, or a related trade
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Strong communication skills when dealing with tenants and management
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
