Tank Traders is searching for a driven and proactive Maintenance Technician to lead the launch of our NEW production operations in Nisku, AB!

We are seeking a driven, skilled Maintenance Technician to help bring our new Nisku facility into full operation. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, proven problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in preventative and routine maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This role calls for a proactive leader who can confidently troubleshoot equipment issues, manage installations from start to finish, and uphold the highest standards of workplace safety. Day in the life:

Schedule is Monday to Friday; 6:00am-2:30pm Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently Participate in and oversee installation projects from planning through completion, coordinating contractors and internal teams Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and skid steers as needed for maintenance tasks Ensure workplace safety standards are upheld and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic irregularities, diagnosing issues and performing hands-on repairs Utilize computer systems and software to track maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment performance Champion company culture and values through visible leadership

Qualifications:

3 years of preventative and regular maintenance in a manufacturing environment or equivalent mechanical experience Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude Effective leadership, communication, and time-management skills Welding experience is considered an asset 1-2 years of experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and VFD operations Proficiency in electronic systems, use of computers, and various software
