Company Overview Bio Agri Mix LP is a leading Canadian manufacturer of animal feed medicants and other animal health care products for 30+ years. Our company is located in Mitchell, ON, a rural community situated in Perth County close to Stratford, and centrally located to London, and Kitchener. Bio Agri Mix LP is a Health Canada licensed, FDA approved, HACCP certified manufacturer of medicated feed additives serving the Canadian market. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Full-Time employment. Benefits: Starting hourly rate:$28.00 / per hour. Day Shift Times:7am to 3:30pm - Monday to Friday (5 \xe2\x80\x93 8 hours shifts). Night Shift Times:7pm to 7am - Monday to Friday (4 -12 hour shifts). Night shift premium: $1.00/per hour paid when working on the night shift. Overtime: 1.5 x hourly rate paid after working in excess of 40 hours in a workweek. Health Benefits: Enrollment into the company plan upon completion of a successful probation period. Holiday Bonus: $1,000 bonus for Full-time active employees. It will be pro-rated based on your start date and active employment days. This bonus will be paid in late December. Apprenticeship: Apprenticeship Millwright program available for interested and qualified individuals. Job Duties / Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Perform preventative, and emergency maintenance tasks. \xc2\xb7 Assist and complete repairs to malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for installing and or dismantling machinery and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. \xc2\xb7 Ability to perform some Mig welding on stainless steel is an asset. \xc2\xb7 Perform some fabrication duties. \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and interpret blue prints and other diagrams. \xc2\xb7 Capable of multi-tasking, as well as the ability to complete any required documentation. \xc2\xb7 Must be capable for working off shifts and weekends as well as cover emergency call-ins, as needed. \xc2\xb7 Ensure all health and safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and WHMIS would be an asset. \xc2\xb7 Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Educational Experience / Background \xc2\xb7 2 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and or related field experience. \xc2\xb7 Experience in the Food and Drug Industry an asset \xc2\xb7 Good written and verbal communication skills \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, blenders and packaging equipment If you feel like you would be a good fit for BAM and open to an interview/phone call, please submit your resume.
