Job description:

Industrial maintenance/CNC technicians are skilled mechanics that install, repair and maintain industrial CNC controlled machinery. Preventive maintenance is essential to ensure the smooth running of in-house production equipment. As an industrial maintenance/CNC technician, you should have a working knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage a demanding schedule.

Job Responsibilitiesand Duties:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical procedures, service manuals and work orders. Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and CNC controlled production-related equipment. Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines. Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades. Communicating existing and potential issues with their supervisors; most often maintenance manager. (Dis) assembling/installing machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

Post-secondary education and previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.

Troubleshooting and Repair: Identifying and resolving issues with CNC machines, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Preventative Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal machine performance.

Installation and Alignment: Installing, aligning, and moving industrial machinery and equipment.

Component Replacement: Identifying and replacing faulty parts or components.

Documentation: Keeping records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Safety: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.

Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.

Knowledge of 5S work practises and 8 deadly waste/downtime awareness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
