Beretta Farms Ltd. is looking for the right hands to maintain our processing facility in Lacombe, AB.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for, but not limited to:

Trouble shooting/repairs/installations of processing equipment with a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical to allow efficient repair/replacement results.

Repair and/or fabrication of equipment parts to Food Safety Standards.

Demonstrated mechanical knowledge including power transmission, pneumatics and hydraulic.

Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings/schematics.

Machining and fabricating for equipment repair and/or upgrades.

Basic steel structure designing and understanding of steel procurement.

Welding of equipment or part repair (Mig, Stick or C02).

Qualifications:

Previous beef facility production experience an asset (2-5 years)

General maintenance background (Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical).

Ability to work under pressure.

Team player

Great communication within and across the departments

Full understanding and support to our Food Safety Program

Hours:

Monday to Friday - Day Shift plus overtime as required

Salary will be commensurate with education, skills and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
