Duties
Perform routine facility maintenance such as repairing structural components (e.g., windows, doors, walls).
Replace worn or damaged machine parts and components as required.
Identify and correct potential safety hazards to prevent workplace injuries.
Communicate existing and potential issues to the Maintenance Manager and assist in necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on production and facility equipment.
Read and interpret technical documents including electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders.
Assemble, disassemble, and install new machines, condition monitoring sensors, and related equipment.
Evaluate, repair, and maintain building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
Test and inspect newly installed or repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs completed, parts used, and time spent.
Document and report equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues promptly.
Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to identify potential issues early.
Order and maintain an adequate supply of materials and spare parts.
Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a maintenance role with hands-on work involving industrial equipment and machinery.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with proficiency using diagnostic and repair tools.
Effective troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve maintenance problems efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork and documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Understanding and adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a demanding environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 - 55 per week
