Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in supporting production processes, ensuring safety standards, and enhancing overall hotel performance.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Pool & Hot tub chemical balancing and following AHS standards for cleaning and testing. Dealing with plumbing issues in guest rooms, mechanical rooms and pool areas Dealing with electricial issues as needed Troubleshooting door lock issues Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility standards during all maintenance tasks. Assist in facilities maintenance including HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep. Painting and walpapering as needed Flooring repairs as needed Shoveling and salting walkways if needed. Other duties as needed to ensure rooms and public areas are in good working order. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in hotel maintenance with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems. Ability to work as a team or individually Skilled in troubleshooting different mechanical systems. Strong understanding of safety standards within an industrial environment. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work activities and collaborate with team members. Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
