We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and building systems to keep operations running smoothly. Duties
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and building infrastructure
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters
Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and integrity
Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and improve process efficiency
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for complex repairs
Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs
Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing settings with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support
Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety training initiatives
Experience
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with hands-on mechanical and electrical work
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes
Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting projects
Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record-keeping
Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams or projects is highly desirable
Ability to use testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical diagnostics
Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document work accurately
