Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are a seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Technician for our multi-family and commercial portfolio in the Greater Edmonton region. A variety of duties include:
Investigate maintenance issues and determine best course of action on repair
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance such as; minor repairs and installations in plumbing, carpentry, painting, installation of blinds, doors, and other reasonable duties as required
Respond to and perform emergency after hour repairs as required
Supporting other team members as required,
Tracking time and work using smartphone software
Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate or provide:
Minimum 2-years of maintenance experience,
Their own basic hand tools and toolbelt,
Their own reliable vehicle with the appropriate licensing to operate the vehicle,
Their own smart-phone and associated voice and data plan,
A clear background check,
A good personal credit rating, and
A track record of consistently living our company values as described above.
Compensation
Wage is negotiable and will be consistent with market value wages for the position.
Extended health care and dental coverage will be provided and subsidized by the company after probation period.
Vacation and holiday pay consistent with Alberta Labour Standards.
