Maintenance Technician - 3 Month Contract (can be extended)
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the client's advanced warehouse automation systems (AMRs, AGVs, stations, subsystems) to ensure optimal system uptime. This role involves hands-on work in the maintenance cage, preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshooting & Repair
Troubleshoot and rectify hardware errors on bots in the maintenance cage.
Replace defective or worn-out parts in robots and ensure proper reassembly.
Assist in root cause analysis and support escalation to maintenance manager when required.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance tasks as per checklists.
Support corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize system reliability.
Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance work performed.
3. Inventory & Documentation
Update the site inventory list for parts consumed and received (pre/post consumption).
Record work orders, part replacements, and maintenance logs.
4. Collaboration & Support
Coordinate with the field team and remote support team during debugging and correction activities.
Escalate recurring failures or unresolved issues to the Maintenance Manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2-4 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting skills with electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with AMRs/AGVs preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Basic knowledge of Linux / automation software is an advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shifts to support 24/7 operations.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
