We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our operations in Delta facility by ensuring the daily execution of preventive and reactive maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Team to maintain and service the facility, equipment, and tools used at our site. This role requires a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting and solving technical issues while ensuring minimal production downtime.

Key Responsibilities



Execute and adhere to the company's preventive maintenance and calibration program, covering key systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production machinery. Maintain and repair production equipment, hardware, and systems, including irrigation pumps, HVAC systems, and mobile equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues using established procedures and good judgment. Perform and record regular perimeter and facility checks, both exterior and interior. Conduct routine replacement of air filters and other recurring maintenance tasks. Operate and maintain the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance records. Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate maintenance and repairs. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance, safety, and product integrity. Adhere to and enforce company health and safety regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility reliability and efficiency. Perform general maintenance tasks in and around the facility as required.

Qualifications & Skills



Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, cannabis, food, pharmaceutical, or greenhouse environments considered an asset. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems and pump electrical work (strong asset). Exposure to HVAC systems and automation components such as boilers, chillers, pumps, and generators. Basic electrical knowledge, including wiring and control systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the ability to manage competing priorities. Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Comfortable working in hot, cold, or humid environments and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible with working hours, including availability for on-call rotations and emergency response. Proficient with tools, machinery, and equipment related to facility maintenance.

Preferred Certifications & Assets



Valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Forklift operator certification. Additional safety certifications are considered an asset. Building Operator Certificate is a plus.
