Job Description

Innocore(TM) is a leading manufacturer of disinfectant wipes for the away-from-home market. We have been steadily growing and now have an immediate need for a Maintenance Supervisor at our facility in Woodstock, Ontario.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for working directly with the production team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, including managing all equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively multi task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

cGMP Definition

:

CGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by Health Canada, The FDA, and EPA. They provide a system that assures proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities. Adherence to the CGMP regulations assures the identity, strength, quality, and purity of drug products by requiring that manufacturers adequately control manufacturing operations. This includes establishing strong quality management systems, obtaining appropriate quality raw materials, establishing robust operating procedures, detecting and investigating product quality deviations, and maintaining reliable testing laboratories. This formal system of controls at a disinfectant manufacturing company, if adequately put into practice, helps to prevent instances of contamination, mix-ups, deviations, failures, and errors. Employee training and qualification assures that all products meet rigorous quality standards.

Role Responsibilities:



Develop and implement training plans to ensure employees receive the necessary instruction to operate the equipment and perform their jobs safely and effectively. Actively participate in the weekly scheduling meetings between maintenance and production teams. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the maintenance modules within all systems. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of maintenance work orders, including urgent repairs. Contribute to the development of the maintenance plan and oversee its daily execution. Attend daily morning production meetings. Manage required arrangements to maintain plant operations during breakdowns. Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and communicate findings to supervisory and management personnel. Provide feedback to the maintenance team regarding goals and performance expectations. Oversee discretionary spending within the budget. Lead the maintenance program to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Provide after-hours and on-call support as required Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within plant operations, including optimizing processes. Work with Quality Control (QC) to ensure a product comply with all regulatory requirements. Prepare and maintain reports on maintenance activities, including KPIs related to performance. Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, technology, and best practices. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing operations. Recognized Millwright or Electrical License High school diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of facility safety regulations and procedures. Proficiency in operations management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment are an asset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent time management and organization skills.
