Job Description

Responsibilities:

Programming, Maintaining Allen Bradley PLC Controlled machines, Vision System, maintaining MES Systems, Local IT support, troubleshooting & adjusting Fanuc Robots, maintaining inventory system.

Oversee installation, repair and upkeep of the business's property, including machines, mechanical systems, etc. effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team. Improvement plans, increase site operational effectiveness.

Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to for the Safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.

Maintain efficiency levels, prepare maintenance budget, Improvise maintenance operations to save on costs and work time, implement best practices, standards and procedures in all maintenance functionalities. Manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Driving Key Performance indicators (KPI's), creation and implementation of best practice, adhere to daily and weekly check to ensure smooth operation of site. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of hydraulic systems. Adhere to daily and weekly check to ensure smooth operation of site.

Manage the Process of the Introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties, perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

: Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical engineering; and four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent leadership and management skills, excellent organizational skills. Competent in problem solving and team building. Basic Functions: Responsible for ensuring that the facility's layout and machinery run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, and managing breakdowns.
