Act as the main point of communication between Maintenance and Operations, including during flight disruptions;
Help return aircraft to service when they are grounded due to maintenance issues;
Lead or support daily maintenance coordination meetings as needed;
Support aircraft operating away from main maintenance bases;
Track and communicate aircraft fleet status, including when aircraft are out of service and expected return times;
Ensure required maintenance and operational reports are completed correctly and entered into company systems;
Support reliable aircraft dispatch and help improve on-time performance;
Oversee tools, parts, and ground support equipment, especially during large maintenance projects;
Ensure company manuals, tools, and equipment are properly used and returned;
Follow Occupational Health and Safety requirements while on shift.
Skills and Qualifications
At least five (5) years of relevant aviation maintenance experience;
Previous supervisory experience or training;
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills;
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment;
Knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations and safety management practices;
A Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence (M1, M2, or E) is a strong asset.
