AGF is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team based in Ottawa. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of production equipment, inventory, purchasing of production related equipment/supplies and leads preventive maintenance programs

About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:

Plan, organize, direct, and mechanical maintenance and repair activities for equipment. Supervise and direct the work of the maintenance team. Manage the daily activities of employees to ensure production efficiency. Inspect equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic defects. Provide technical support to maintenance personnel. Develop a preventive maintenance program and all related procedures, ensure compliance, and keep them up to date. Ensure that safety measures are applied and that a healthy and safe work environment is maintained. Compliance with the company policies, values and procedures, Ministry of Labour and OSHA Conduct maintenance training with staff. Complete required maintenance reports (% preventive vs. corrective). Maintain inventory and plan purchases of equipment maintenance supplies. Resolve work-related issues and submit recommendations for improving performance. Actively participate in the equipment improvement program. Participate in evaluating the performance of team members and recommend appropriate actions. Perform various maintenance and/or production related tasks as required.

About You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor. Demonstrated experience in developing preventative maintenance programs. Excellent teamwork skills. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Highly versatile and flexible. Be structured and have strong organizational and planning skills. Computer proficient: Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and Google Suite. Knowledge of ERP systems (an asset);
