Job Description

Responsible for the daily maintenance of all mechanical functions in the plant, ensuring preventative maintenance is completed, and tracked all while minimizing downtime and keeping production running.

Perform routine, and schedule preventative maintenance on plant equipment. Activities include lubrication, adjustment, minor repair and the logging of those activities performed on plant production equipment, building support equipment and material handling equipment. Perform scheduled downtime repair and overhaul of plant equipment in a timely manner. Perform installations as necessary. Care, maintenance and accounting of maintenance department tools and equipment, including reporting and tracking of all work. Entering all repairs in the proper systems. Make recommendations on continuous improvement ideas for equipment, method or product. Source parts if required for repairs. Preparing work orders, purchase order requests, and daily maintenance log. Have working knowledge and experience with pneumatics and hydraulics. Have troubleshooting and repair experience with PLC Have a working knowledge of industrial electricity. Ability to do minor electrical repairs. Operate forklift and scissor lift as required. Ensure all safety devices are properly adjusted, in place and all procedures are followed, including Lock-out / Tag-out and Pre-Start Inspections. Provides and is responsible for all own tools. Is available to work flexible hours and/ or overtime including weekends, stat holidays and plant shutdown. To maintain good housekeeping standards. Other safe duties assigned by Plas Tech Extrusions Ltd.

Pay: $38.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
