As a Maintenance Serviceperson, you will perform a wide variety of preventative maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment. Primary duties include:
Service and perform minor repairs to units such as: lubrication work, fluid and filter changes, tire changes, wheel torquing, fluid level checks, servicing batteries, replacing or adjusting belts, lights, windshield wipers, checking for and reporting abnormal conditions and assisting the mechanics as required.
Steam clean parts or components of vehicles.
Operate a mobile service unit and provide in-field services in certain locations.
Operate vehicles and equipment used in performing the required work including a Merlo, forklift and shop sweeper.
Ferry vehicles as required and pick up parts from stores or dealers.
Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment and the work area.
