Who we are
We invite you to join R\xc3\xa9publique Provincial Park located on the shores of the Madawaska River. This 108-acre park offers over 150 campsites, rustic shelters and Ch-A-Lets. The park offers scenic hiking and cycling trails, two volleyball courts, a fully equipped outdoor playground, two tennis courts, horseshoe pits, boat ramp, picnic sites, a picnic shelter, laundry room, a playroom for indoor activities, a heated swimming pool, an amphitheatre and a convenience store. Savour the sweet perfume of the magnificent New Brunswick Botanical Garden, a truly peaceful oasis located on more than 20 acres of the park\'s land. What you will do As a member of the R\xc3\xa9publique Provincial Park, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintening and repairing of buildings, grounds and equipment
  • Managing assets via short and long-term maintenance and repair planning
  • Performing daily inspections, requiring adjustments and repairing buildings and equipment
  • Assisting with new projects and renovations
  • Performing other related tasks as required
Work Environment
  • Working evenings and on weekends
  • Shift work
  • Working in all weather conditions
Who you are Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following: Need to have
  • High school diploma or GED, minimum one (1) year of related work experience at the semi-skilled level in the building, electrical and/or mechanical occupations.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver\'s License is required
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
  • Written and spoken competence in French is required
