Maintenance Purchaser/Planner

to join our Maintenance team and support plant reliability and efficiency.

Role Overview:

The Maintenance Purchaser/Planner will be responsible for coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities while managing the procurement of parts, tools, and services required for maintenance operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth maintenance workflows, cost-effective purchasing, and efficient equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks Procure maintenance parts, materials, tools, and contractor services Maintain accurate records of inventory, vendor information, and work orders Optimize purchasing processes and supplier relationships to reduce lead times and costs Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, production, and purchasing teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs Track equipment maintenance history and ensure timely completion of planned activities Support continuous improvement in maintenance and procurement processes

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in

maintenance planning/scheduling

within a

manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong background in

purchasing or procurement

Knowledge of

engineering principles

and mechanical components Excellent

organizational, communication, and analytical

skills Proficient in using CMMS or ERP systems for maintenance and purchasing (experience with

MaintainX

or

Microsoft Business Central

is an asset) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
