Magellan Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Plumber at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position will be full time, permanent and unionized. Shift work may be required.

The Maintenance Plumber installs steam, air, water and gas lines and associated equipment; and carries out repairs and installations to required specifications in accordance with applicable codes. Although we employ individuals with different types of Red Seal certifications to the Maintenance Plumber classification, for this particular opening the successful applicant must hold and maintain a Provincial Red Seal certifications in Plumbing.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• Required to have and maintain a valid Red Seal Certification in Plumbing.
• Preferred A Class gas, Required B Class gas, oil and fitters license
• Preferred 4th or 5th Power Class Engineer license
• Experience and proven ability to troubleshoot electric/electronic and pneumatic controls is preferred
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Required ability to efficiently use computers and related software needed to complete work assignments
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and on-call
• Ability to work safely at all times, within specified safety requirements (e.g. PPE and Respirator)
