JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

This is a critical position in our Maintenance department, as the Maintenance Planner at JELD-WEN, you will be responsible for developing & updating Planned Maintenance (PMs), purchasing necessary parts, scheduling work into production plans, developing cost & time estimates, and up keeping the maintenance history.

This is an on-site role and is based in our Winnipeg Location.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with maintenance supervision to develop PMs, update & modify existing PM\'s as per RCM strategy plan.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervision to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes
• Develop cost & time estimates of PM work and schedule work into production plan
• Evaluate/purchase necessary parts, equipment, services, and documentation to perform the maintenance work while tracking warranties on equipment & parts purchases ensuring all warranty claims are made
• Plans for interruptions in work & develops backup plans to minimize interruptions in production
• Ensure key performance indicators are captures and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling business flow process
• Write applicable maintenance procedures (SOP\'s) that promote defect-free maintenance work quality
• Update Asset lists on CMMS
• Ensure parts and equipment retain full reliability while stored
• Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history, job records database and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant, and equipment

Who You Are

• Previous knowledge, experience, or background with setting up a Planned Maintenance program using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) FIIX
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and/or a technical degree related to manufacturing would be considered an asset

• Knowledge of computerized drafting skills preferred
