Job Requirements
The incumbent will have a minimum of 3-5 years in an asset intensive industry preferably in a supervisor or planning role.
The incumbent will have completed some post secondary education in a relevant area. This could include a trade, diploma, or degree in a relevant area (other combinations of education and experience will also be considered). * Strong written, oral communication and facilitation skills
Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP.
Ability to demonstrate objective judgement, prioritization, and ability work in high pressure situations is essential to success in this role.
Experience with mechanical components either maintenance or vending would be considered an asset.
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands - strong organizational skills are a must. * Strong ability to work under pressure, multi-task and detail orientated

Maintenance Planner

Job Details
Kruger Products manufactures and distributes high quality, cost-effective product solutions to a wide range of commercial and public entities. Through warehouse clubs, food-service and wholesale distributors and janitorial-supply companies, AFH supplies quality paper-based solutions to the accommodation, food service, property management and healthcare sectors.
What you will do
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, expectations are to perform the job of a planner as per the job description, Kruger AFH concept of work control, and the planning and scheduling work management process.
This position will provide direction/clarification for work execution to the mechanical and electrical department leads in the form of a planned job package with adequate information for safe and efficient job execution. This role has no direct reports.
Responsibilities

  • To conduct planning activities as per the Kruger AFH work management process for planning and scheduling.
  • To Issue work packages for Maintenance execution of PM and corrective work including: Work order in Safe Work Procedure format including JSA, Permits, Work order (SWP Format standard) with hazards, controls, job tasks/sequence (Prep, execution and commissioning), detail job steps including pictures where necessary and attached to work order for reference, job closeout section, area, job completion time estimate, manpower requirements, material and services requirements, material/kit location, shipping notices, etc.
  • To coordinate with departments to ensure departmental priorities are part of the backlog review process and maintaining an up to date work order backlog.
  • To develop and maintain equipment and building information data base.
  • To develop Gantt charts for multi shift/multi crew jobs.
  • Liaise with Procurement/warehouse to ensure all required materials are ordered and follow up on timeline to ensure planned jobs have required materials.
  • To do field job assessment with members of the execution team most appropriate to detail requirements of the job.
  • To understand the fundamental concepts of Reliability centered maintenance.
  • To modify tasks and standard jobs using the applicable change management processes (JSA, risk assessments, etc.)
  • To perform all planning tasks within the maintenance CMMS system provided.
  • To actively participate in the development of the yearly maintenance budget.
  • Other duties as assigned
