The Fixed/E&I Maintenance Planner primary responsibility is to focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of reliability-based maintenance strategies with a focus on preventative and predictive maintenance. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing cost saving initiatives and aligning the department\xe2\x80\x99s strategies to the overall business goals.

Keno Hill, is one of the highest-grade silver districts in the world, is situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun. It comprises 242 square kilometres (km2) with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical past-producing mine sites. Keno Hill is expected to produce 2.7-3.0 million ounces of silver in 2024 as the mine ramps up production.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you can expect in this role:
Providing reliability and maintenance support relating to site Fixed and E&I equipment to achieve required availability
Aid with implementation of new ERP in near future as required
Plan jobs using work orders, order materials and prepare \xe2\x80\x9cjob kits\xe2\x80\x9d in conjunction with purchasing
Reviewing, evaluating, and reporting maintenance performance through KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
Developing, and maintaining reliability strategies, initiatives, and solutions across site identifying improvement opportunities
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and KPI reports. \xe2\x80\x93 Short and long term plans
Work closely with maintenance supervisors and leads to produce and execute the plan with minimal break in work
Work closely with procurement to ensure critical spares are inventoried at the correct levels
Conduct weekly planning and scheduling meetings
Communicate with key stakeholders interdepartmentally to ensure common goals are achieved
Spend time in the field as required with occasional site visits, follow up on planning efficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Build relationships with OEM suppliers and 3rd party labor contractors
Coach/Train team members on the proper use of CMMS to ensure accurate documentation and system maintenance

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant Red Seal Trade or relevant engineering degree
Experience repairing and maintaining mill equipment in a mining environment
5+ years\' experience working with high-performing Maintenance teams, ideally within an operational mining/processing environment
Valid drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license
Essential Experience and Skills:
Hands-on planning experience in mining industry
Experience implementing, utilizing, and maintaining CMMS systems
Strong experience in mill equipment maintenance and development of equipment reliability strategies
Significant demonstrated leadership which supports a high-performance culture
Extensive knowledge of Planning, Scheduling and Execution process \xe2\x80\x93 Workflow
Demonstrated working knowledge of mine safety procedures and regulations
Experience communicating and building relationships with vendors
Highly developed communication and presentation skills
High degree of computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and CMMS
Extremely organized, motivated self-starter, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Able to work under minimal supervision as required

Work Environment and Job Schedule This role is M-F working from home with occasional site visits \xe2\x80\x93 Every 4-6 weeks. At site employees may be frequently exposed to; outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is occasionally loud.
