About the role:

As a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Administrator, you will play a key role within the Engineering Department to support the NACS sites to conduct efficient maintenance operations to maintain high availability for the critical assets within the Plants. The CMMS Administrator will work with the site personnel to ensure that the assets within the facilities are properly maintained, resource capacity is scheduled optimally, and the sites meet compliance guidelines.

In this role, you will:

Accountabilities

\xc2\xb7 Work with site personnel to organize, plan, and schedule the preventative and corrective maintenance work within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the sites.

\xc2\xb7 Create and assign work orders to site teams at the direction of Site and Reclamation Managers.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the prioritization of critical work and building efficient work packages (team member project plans and kitting)

\xc2\xb7 Provide expertise in the support of generating business processes to support sites by optimizing workflows to maximize data capture for asset life cycle management, data integrity, labour management and materials tracking and cost capture.

\xc2\xb7 Provide regularly scheduled auditing of system operations for reporting negative trending and to supply tools and resources that promote continuous improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Retrieve, analyze data, and develop reports from Computerized Maintenance Management Services.

\xc2\xb7 Chairs weekly/biweekly/monthly planned maintenance scheduling meetings

\xc2\xb7 Prepares plans and schedules maintenance work during site shutdowns in collaboration with Site and Reclamation Managers

\xc2\xb7 Develops written job procedures in accordance with OEM manuals & maintenance standards for recurring tasks

Vendor & Inventory Management

\xc2\xb7 The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Administrator works closely with the procurement personnel and vendor service provider as well as the site personnel to ensure quality of service.

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain material code for critical assets in the CMMS and ensure proper assignment in work order.

\xc2\xb7 Create Requisitions and Purchase Orders (POs) with vendors to procure necessary parts and supplies.

\xc2\xb7 Support the validating and resolving issues with vendor invoices and processes invoices.

\xc2\xb7 Create Maintenance contracts in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance strategies requiring external expertise.

\xc2\xb7 Follows up with Vendors and Contractors on procured parts and contracted services.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates emergency repairs with external contractors

Data Management

\xc2\xb7 The CMMS administrator ensures quality data within the CMMS for accurate asset registry, spares inventory, Asset Data KPI reporting and appropriate leadership decisions on work order prioritization.

\xc2\xb7 Assure data integrity in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by managing the asset setup, parts, and job plans based upon input from Asset Management and Engineering team.

\xc2\xb7 Support Plant Maintenance & Operations in creating, analysing, and publishing reports for management and as directed within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Training & Support

\xc2\xb7 Provide support during the implementation of the CMMS software at all NACS sites, ensuring a seamless transition and user acceptance.

\xc2\xb7 Acquire in-depth knowledge of the CMMS software and its functionalities to effectively deliver training and support to users, including engineers, technicians, and other relevant staff members.

\xc2\xb7 Act as the main point of contact for all CMMS-related inquiries

Language: English

Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelors degree Engineering or Maintenance related field, or equivalent recognised industry experience.
  • [Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, an asset]
  • Functional support knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Experience in a maintenance planning role in the mining or minerals processing industries.
  • Experience working with CMMS systems i.e., SAP, an asset
  • Minimum two (2) [to 5] years\' experience in all areas of computerized management system master data management or equivalent experience in other master data management systems
