Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 3 - 5 years experience in Equipment Maintenance Planning
\xc2\xb7 Extensive mechanical knowledge is essential
\xc2\xb7 Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards (our computerized maintenance management system) is required
\xc2\xb7 Ability to adapt to change quickly and prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines
\xc2\xb7 Possess problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail
\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a heavy equipment environment would be considered an asset
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with technicians to build effective plans and develop a culture of continuous improvement
\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain interdepartmental communication to optimize the successful completion of scheduled jobs
\xc2\xb7 Create standard job plans using executed work orders with a focus on improving efficiency
\xc2\xb7 Build daily and weekly plans that provide technicians with the parts, tools, and estimated duration to complete their assignment.
\xc2\xb7 Have the ability and confidence to adjust schedules in the event of time sensitive unplanned work
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate work by requesting new part item creation, and expediting parts and materials (i.e. ensure parts are available, stock or non-stock, special tools and equipment, contractors, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Understand and be involved in assignment plan and details (i.e. understand content and intent of work order, check standard job plan, go to work site to do in-field planning, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports
\xc2\xb7 Consistently meet or exceed KPIs (i.e. planning accuracy, parts planning accuracy, break in work, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a commitment to top performance in a safe work environment
