Irving, Limited family of companies, we are always seeking to attract the very best talent.We are currently seeking applicants for the position of MAINTENANCE SCHEDULER to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick.Responsibilities:Verifying resource requirements and availability before scheduling planned work and determine work orders with appropriate status.Generating and reviewing the schedule with Maintenance to refine details surrounding current conditions and operation to incorporate operational concerns and limitations. Modify schedules if required.Releasing all work orders daily for dissemination to the maintenance leads and trades, ensuring all identified resources are assigned to open work ordersMaintaining, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials and components for all scheduled workInteracting daily with Maintenance to ensure schedules are adhered to and modified as necessaryReview of completed work orders for recording of required data, planned vs. actual; hours, tools, materials, and safety requirements to identify any required changes or improvementsTracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Be available for on-call operational work based on a predetermined scheduleQualificationsCollege diploma in a related fieldExperience in mechanical work planning in a unionized environment is an assetAbility to work well under pressureStrong sense of time management to meet maintenance deadlinesAbility to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure continuity of operationsProactive problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situationsAbility to assume supervisory or management dutiesProficiency with the Microsoft\xc2\xae Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, Outlook) * E1 would be an assetTo Apply for this Career Opportunity:Please apply online.
