As a Maintenance Planner, you will be involved in the planning of daily maintenance work, weekly scheduling activities, and planning and scheduling of shutdowns and events. You will work closely with the Mechanical Supervisor, Tradespersons, Reliability Department, E&I, and Operations to ensure efficient job execution. You will be responsible for work order planning, administration, and material management / procurement. You may also be required to support as area supervisor at times, and to supervise contractors on small projects.Who We Are:

• Education Required: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technologist, or Journeyman Tradesperson or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or planning experience in maintenance or reliability in heavy industry would be considered an asset.
• Maintenance Management Professional or work towards such a designation would be considered an asset.
• Planning or Project Management experience would be considered an asset.
• Must demonstrate ownership, initiative, attention-to-detail.
• Problem solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CMMS experience, ideally with JD Edwards/Oracle would be considered an asset.
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
