Global Mission of the position
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will participate on preparing preventative maintenance plans that are aligned with the organizations maintenance goals.

BIG RESPONSABILITIES
Be a safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environment rules and procedures
Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with active participation of the maintenance team
Generate work orders
Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors
Develop total job cost estimate
Maintain liaison with field supervision and other management regarding work execution, necessity or altering schedules, and manpower status
Implement and maintain new CMMS program Interal, as this person will be responsible for Interal site wide
As the Maintenance Planner, you will receive work requests and work orders through CMMS that require planning
Maintain parts inventory
Maintain records and files essential to maintenance
Assist and support Maintenance Superintendent
Perform other duties as assigned to be deemed in the best interest of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, preferably within the lumber industry
Prior experience with maintenance planning and scheduling preferred
Working knowledge of effective preventative/predictive maintenance methodologies and processes
Strong Microsoft Office skills: Work and Excel are required
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work safely and effectively in a highly interactive / energetic team environment
Detail and results oriented
Ability to function under pressure
Ability to think analytically, tactically and strategically
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
