Maintenance Foreman
Position Overview:
The Weyburn Asset Team has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Operator to contribute to one ofA WhitecapaEUR(TM)s core properties. The collective Weyburn Property Team manages the largest commercial carbon dioxide miscible flood in Canada. This highly productive operation is in southeastern Saskatchewan.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance work, working independently and managing crews and equipment as required.
Respond to call outs to troubleshoot and repair field production and injection issues.
Work a 5 & 2 schedule initially with a rotating on call requirement for weekend coverage.
Primary Qualifications and Skills:
2-3 years of oilfield operating experience
Well-developed communication skills & ability to work within a team environment
Ability to work independently to complete required work orders and adapt to change
Open and honest team player with a positive and engaging personality
Mechanically inclined with prior oilfield maintenance would be an asset
Relevant technical training such as Power Engineering, Tradesman or Engineering Technology would be an asset
Possess a valid Class 5 driveraEUR(TM)s license (drivers abstract is required)
First Aid, TDG, WHMIS and H2S certifications are required
