We are seeking a hands-on, talented & professional
Maintenance Operations Technician
to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the distillery, its plant, equipment, and machinery. Managing the flow of goods in and out of the distillery, that is shipping and receiving is a task of the Maintenance Operations Technician. The Technician handles unloading incoming trucks and verifying inventory to packing, labeling, and dispatching outgoing orders; proper storage of incoming materials and timely deliveries through detailed record-keeping and system updates- all done with detailed accuracy.
Responsibilities
1. Learn and understand the operation of all equipment to confidently identify the root causes of problems.
2. Perform required preventative maintenance as assigned, report machine deficiencies, irregularities, and unsafe conditions.
3. Oversee equipment usage and performance.
4. Provide technical support, along with leadership in dealing with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
5. Managing the flow of goods in and out of the distillery.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach when working with internal teams.
Good communication skills in English to document work orders and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Relevant certifications or experience in industrial maintenance are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations through technical expertise and proactive maintenance strategies. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and in overall good physical health.
EXPERIENCE
1.
Preferred:
Prior work experience as a Maintenance Technician.
OR
At least 2 to 3 years of prior experience, working with equipment.
2. Must be able to operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts, and stacking of product, during installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
3.
Preferred:
Has Workplace Safety and Accident Prevention programs.
OR
willingness to obtain and maintain Workplace Safety and Accident Prevention programs.
4. High School Diploma.
JOB TYPE
Full time - 37.5 hours/week
Monday to Friday (with reciprocated flexibility for days off)
