Industrial Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic
to join our team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with strong fabrication abilities and experience maintaining a diverse range of industrial equipment. Reliability, a team-first attitude, and a willingness to put in the necessary effort are essential.

Core Technical Skills & Experience
Fabrication:
Must be proficient in
welding
(e.g., stick, MIG, TIG), cutting, and fitting materials to create or modify machine parts and structural components.
Blasting Equipment experience:
Repair and maintenance of abrasive blasting systems (pressure blasters, wheel blasters, dust collector systems).
Vibratory Equipment:
Troubleshooting and maintenance of vibratory finishing/deburring machines.
Pumps:
Experience with various industrial pumps (e.g., centrifugal, diaphragm) used for fluids like coolants, solvents, or slurries.
Forklifts:
Performing basic maintenance checks and possibly minor repairs on material handling equipment.
Paint line:
Maintaining and troubleshooting the mechanisms, conveyors, and components of an industrial paint application line.
Repair & Maintenance:
Highly skilled in
diagnosing equipment malfunctions
, performing repairs, and executing preventative maintenance tasks.
Parts Replacement:
Expertise in accurately selecting and installing new or refurbished mechanical components (e.g., bearings, seals, gears, shafts).
I
nvestigate
mechanical and electrical issues and create corrective action plans.
Troubleshoot
and repair machinery and equipment.
Read
blueprints
,
diagrams and schematic drawings
to determine work procedures.
Dismantle and move stationary
industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to plans, using hand and power tools, hoisting and rigging.
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other equipment.
Operate machining tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts as required.
Operate
hoisting and lifting devices
such as cranes, jacks and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
Experience in mentorship and guiding an apprentice an asset.
Other duties as assigned.

is critical, as machinery downtime can significantly impact production.

Willingness to work overtime
and be flexible with scheduling is necessary, especially when critical equipment breakdowns require immediate attention.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
Millwright license
Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a related position
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Able to read, write and communicate proficiently in English
Solid trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule work effectively with a production team in a fast paced and values driven environment
Strong organization and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.
