• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Aptitude for quick troubleshooting and diagnosis of problems with machinery, systems, and facilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Industrial plant maintenance experience including, but not limited to, the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, rail assemblies, hydraulic assemblies, pneumatic assemblies, and packaging machinery \xe2\x80\xa2 Industrial plant maintenance experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be willing and able to lift and or move materials \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and as a team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly organized and multitask oriented \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in a computerized environment, PLC, automated equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in a food plant Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions \xe2\x80\xa2 Repair or replace defective machinery parts \xe2\x80\xa2 Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform routine maintenance work on machinery \xe2\x80\xa2 Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation), Installing machinery and equipment About Us: Sofina Foods is one of Canada\'s leading manufacturers of primary and further processed protein products for retail and food service customers as well as international markets.
