Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency at our facility. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS systems for optimal performance. Conduct inspections of HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other technicians to execute complex repairs efficiently. Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status. Assist in the installation of new machinery as required. Provide training to junior staff on maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

Electrical or Mechanical certificate or degree is an asset. Minimum 3 plus years' working experience. Preference will be given to candidates that have worked in a metal stamping/wire forming industry. Licensed millwright/mechanic is an asset. Counterbalance forklift license is an asset. Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and mechanical systems. Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software. Familiarity with HVAC systems, welding techniques, and boiler operations is an asset. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
