Job Summary
- Responsible for leading an experienced maintenance team and issuing Preventative Maintenance work orders
- Support and initiate development of workers engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
- Reduce downtime by assigning production support tasks
- Seek and help assess new technologies and automation opportunities in lowering the overall cost of manufacturing
- Oversee preventive and scheduled maintenance on all equipment and machinery
- Implement and Improve Predictive Maintenance activities

- Be an advocate for safety and follow all Occupational Health and Safety standards and practices
- Perform preventive, emergency and scheduled maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to equipment
- Perform fabrication work
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Journeyman designation or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in the Maintenance field, preferably in fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and track equipment issues to perform root cause analysis and correct issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a ability to communicate with all departments
- Self-motivated and proactive, and people love your positive \'can do\' attitude
- Problem solving, decision making and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications
