Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Helper to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations on a 2-month contract, with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

You will assist with general maintenance tasks, repairs, facility improvements, and general labour duties to help keep our operation running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the facility and equipment Use hand and power tools safely and effectively (including saws, drills, measuring tapes, etc.) Support special projects and basic fabrication or installation tasks as required Perform general labour tasks such as sweeping, taking out garbage, painting, and maintaining clean work areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or concerns promptly Work independently while also collaborating with the team as needed
Qualifications & Requirements

Mechanically inclined with hands-on maintenance or factory-related experience Comfortable using a wide range of hand and power tools Willingness to perform general labour tasks as needed Strong understanding of workplace safety and safe tool usage Self-starter who can take initiative and work with minimal supervision Fully fluent in English (spoken and written) Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Assets (Not Required)

Valid Forklift Certification Working at Heights Certification Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
