Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator at the Moncton Garage location. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a \xe2\x80\x9cCan Do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.

Successful Candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum High School diploma;
• Specialized training in mechanics, maintenance management, or a closely related field an asset;
• Previous experience in an office or vehicle repair shop an asset;
• Knowledge of AS400 and Enrich an asset;
• Basic knowledge of invoicing processes an asset;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing;
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment;
• A strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory listing of units in shop yard awaiting service;
• Greet drivers and other people that enter the shop area;
• Communicate the status of in-process equipment;
• Check work rosters;
• Check deficient entries;
• Summarize new work, communicate and proceed according to Supervisor\xe2\x80\x99s advice;
• Open and update work orders in the system;
• Open shop purchase orders and assist Sublet department with incoming calls;
• Work with outside vendors and dispatch to assist in equipment breakdowns and follow up on equipment out of service;
• Record and charge fluid container pickups to each unit.
• Shift Hours: Evenings 1630-0100, Monday to Friday, on site;
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or different shifts occasionally;
• Assist with telematic components inventory at the shop;
• Other various duties as assigned
