Maintenance associate duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintains the condition of the following, but not limited to: flooring, walls, stairways, carpets, lobby areas, pools, parking lot and lawn maintenance.
Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
Handles necessary repairs and maintenance requests in a timely fashion, including the installation of equipment and parts to hotel rooms and building.
Follows local and provincial building codes.
Complies with all company safety regulations.
Reports any issues to the maintenance supervisor.
Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
Reads and follows manuals, and other written instructions.
Moves furniture or equipment to storage garages and hotel rooms.
Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools and electric tools.
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance supervisor, and contractors in certain circumstances.
Qualifications and Experience
At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
