Summer Students-Term
2 Maintenance Assistants
AVENS-A Community for Seniors, the largest long-term care and dementia care facility in the north, is hiring for the Canada Summer Student program. To qualify you must be between the ages of 15 and 30 years (as per the Canada Summer Student funding program).
These are term positions are expecting to start June 1 until August 31, 2023.
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Maintenance Assistant-general knowledge of painting, landscaping and household maintenance
Knowledge of long term care for elderly persons and persons with dementia Problem solving skills Very good listening skills Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time Able to stand for extended periods of time
