The Tea Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tea room, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests while maintaining high standards of service and quality. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Duties

Supervise and train tea room staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in all areas. Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality offerings. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service industry preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Proficient in basic math and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. A passion for tea culture and knowledge of various tea types is a plus.
