Machinist Apprentice

Must be willing to enroll in the machinist apprenticeship program.
Duties:
Use Overhead cranes
Help with setups on lathes and horizontal boring mills
Work in a safe manner according to the Occupational Health and Safety
Strive for continuous improvement.
General labour duties
Train as a CNC machinist
Possibly enroll in the machinist apprenticeship program.
Other duties as required
Position Requirements:
Custom machine shop environment is an asset
Physical demands require the ability to handle weights up to 25 kg (55 pounds)
Preference will be given to candidates that have completed Mechanical Technician program or Manufacturing Technician program
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
