POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for well-rounded individuals that have a passion for learning and technology. An ideal candidate would have experience with Sliding Headstock CNC Swiss Lathes. However, if you possess strong mechanical skills and want to fill your days working with advanced machining and manufacturing technology then we can train you.
As you grow with our company you will be expected to learn how to program, set-up, troubleshoot and operate CNC equipment. We operate in a fast-paced production environment utilizing Multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes that have the latest technology including LFV and B-axis machining capability. Continuous improvement, and knowledge transfer is critical to our shop culture.

JOB ACTIVITIES
Learn our culture and best practices
Maintain product quality
Programing, set-up, and operation of multi axis Swiss CNC
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and work instructions
Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, CMM, Vision inspection, etc.
Collaborate with engineering, QC, and management to maintain efficiency
Other duties as required

Any post-secondary school or training in manufacturing, metalworking, machining, tool and die, drafting, metrology or similar is an asset
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Six Sigma, etc
Working knowledge of milling, turning, drilling, grinding, broaching, and other machine functions
