Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Weaving Lead hand, the duties and responsibilities of the
Rod Machine Operator
include, but are not limited to, the following:Operates and monitors wire forming equipment such as straight and cut and wire crimping machine. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Performs routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety. Enforces strict adherence to health and safety regulations in the plant and operates equipment properly. Reads and interprets technical drawings to determine specifications for production. Utilizes hand tools and logic controllers effectively during the manufacturing process. Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements. Maintains equipment and keeps a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety protocols. Apply basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during production.
