Meridian Plastics is a custom plastic injection molding company, located in Edmonton, Alberta. We manufacture custom injection molded plastic parts for a variety of industrial and consumer markets.

As a Machine Operator, you will be assigned the responsibility of producing high quality, injection molded materials. Training will be provided on site. Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operating and supervising injection molding machinery Working within a production line Assembly of products with the use of other plastic components Fine detail inspection of completed products

Job Requirements:

Ability to work within a team environment Detail-oriented Capable of lifting 30lbs - 50lbs independently Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attentive, reliable, punctual Previous plastic injection molding experience may be considered an asset, but not mandatory

Education:

Minimum education requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Salary:

Starting wage is $18.00/hour

Hours:

Looking for a Part Time Seasonal Position (July - September ) and possibly permanent candidate, with the ability to work 8 hour shifts.

Benefits:

Medical benefits available after the 3 month probationary period.
