Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for packing product, inspecting quality and folding boxes

Report and communicate any quality issues to Quality Control Inspector

Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area

Willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Ensures all company policies and safety procedures are routinely and correctly followed

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic WHMIS Training

Good command of the English language to communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors

Must be versatile and be able to work in more than one area of the production process as requested

Must be able to work effectively with others

Responsible for following and complying with all Good Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety & Quality System to ensure the control of all the food safety hazards.

Follow FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 procedures

Follow 5S organization method

Working conditions:

Must wear safety shoes, hearing protection, and hair net and other appropriate PPE where required

Will be exposed to hot, humid condition in the summer months

Works in plant where there is exposure to noise

Work involves a high degree of visual attention involving constant attention when inspecting production
