We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our Injection Moulding team on Nights. We pride ourselves on knowing that we have a friendly, welcoming, hard working group of employees who will make you feel at home!
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and effectively processing parts produced by the injection moulding machines, utilizing documented work instructions, to prepare product for further processing or shipment to the customer.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for running machine presses through the semi-auto mode
- Sort, assemble and box components with proper labelling and counts
- Efficiently use the granulator for recycling purposes
- Assemble and weld moulded components by operating the ultrasonic welding machine effectively with working knowledge of necessary safety implications
The above tasks do not imply that these requirements are the exclusive requirements of this position. This position requires performance of additional related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or related environment an asset
- Experience with the use of a variety of plastic materials for manufacturing an asset
Hours of Work: Nights: Sunday to Thursday 11:30pm to 8:00am
